Beneficiaries:
Brno University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies
ELVAC SOLUTIONS s.r.o.
Project period:
01.03.2024 — 28.02.2026
Funding sources:
This project is co-financed with state support of the CR Technological Agency as part of Mezinárodní výzva EnerDigit Call 2023. This project was funded under the National Recovery Plan from the European Recovery and Resilience Facility.
Description:
The aim of the project is to develop new technical tools related to the need of operation mapping prior to the reconfiguration of the medium voltage (MV) system, which will enable the necessary analysis/control of the possibility of interconnection of the 2 supplied areas (e.g. feeder looping, connection of the isolated area to the synchronous system) to maintain the stability of the distribution network operation during the interconnection of these areas. Specifically, the developed tools will be used to securely connect disconnected areas of distribution networks and isolated areas, which will lead to increased operational reliability, operability, monitoring and security of these network systems and will also technically support further development and deployment of smart grids.
