WAFER-ULT5

ELVAC company brings to the Czech and Slovak market a new single board computer WAFER-ULT5 from the workshop of the world producer iEi Integration. The WAFER-ULT5 series offers 3.5 SBC format motherboards, which are small single board computers with dimensions of 157 mm x 107 mm and equipped with sophisticated 8th generation Intel® Whiskey Lake processors with advanced 14nm technology.

The motherboard is equipped with an optional aluminum cooling jacket that allows for very simple installation as well as uncomplicated heat dissipation from the built-in components, which is an advantage especially for vending machine or single-purpose machine applications.
The WAFER-ULT5 single board computer offers the optional computing power of Intel® mobile ULT i3 / i5 / i7 or Celeron processors, with integrated UHD 620 graphics. The board can be equipped with up to 32GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM with a frequency of up to 2400MHz, allowing you to take full advantage of the performance of the processors.

WAFER-ULT5 is equipped with three independent graphics outputs, 2x HDMI and 1xLVDS. In addition to three Intel GbE interfaces, there are two USB 2.0 and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 x1 ports, one RS-232 serial port and one RS-232/RS-422/485 port with automatic flow control. Digital communication is enabled by an 8-bit digital DIO connector with four inputs and outputs for interfacing with sensors and controllers. On the WAFER-ULT5 board there is a connection for a classic hard disk or SSD, via one SATA-6G interface, one M.2 A Key slot, and there is also a PCIe Mini slot with support for mSATA.

The WAFER-ULT5 single board computer has been designed to operate in environments with an extended operating temperature range of -20 to 60°C, allowing the system to be installed in outdoor self-service vending machines and kiosks.
