ELVAC a.s. brings to the Czech market a new, ultra-compact, expandable computer IDS-310AI, designed for digital information display and artificial intelligence applications with an emphasis on reliability in 24/7 operation.

The new IDS boasts the scalable computing power of a quad-core Intel® Celeron® J3455 1.5GHz processor with Apollo Lake architecture and integrated Intel® HD Graphics 500 graphics processor. The processor offers plenty of power for responsive media processing at very low power consumption (TDP 10W). The computer has a pre-installed Mustang-MPCIE-MX2 acceleration card, which includes two Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ X VPUs that provide a flexible solution for image processing and artificial intelligence applications.

Despite its small size, the system is equipped with a sufficient number of input and output interfaces, the necessary 2x Gigabit Intel LAN connectors for high-speed network communication, 3x USB 3.2 Gen1 and for serial communication an RS-232/422/485 type interface, which is solved via a DB-9 connector. Digital audio and video signals are transmitted via three HDMI ports, offering 4K UHD (3840×2160) 30Hz high definition display. The computer can be optionally equipped with a 1 x 2230 A key M2 module for wireless Wi-Fi communication.

Data storage space is provided by a pre-installed SATADOM module with a capacity of 128 GB, which can be expanded with data on a Micro SD card thanks to the built-in Micro SD slot. The system comes with 8 GB DDR3L SO-DIMM memory pre-installed.
The IDS-310AI is a minimalist embedded computer with a durable aluminum construction equipped with a passive heatsink that fills the entire top side of the chassis. The underside of the computer is equipped with mounting rails for screw mounting to the wall.

Designed to operate in environments with an extended operating temperature range of -20 to 45°C, the IDS-310AI is manufactured and assembled to deliver maximum performance in demanding work environments. Power to the system is provided by a power adapter with a 12V DC output voltage. The system’s passive cooling and low power consumption ensure reliability and long life of the computer. Finally, it is important to emphasize the maintenance-free nature of this solution, as there are no mechanical moving parts, no replaceable batteries, no fans, and no vents.

The IDS-310AI computer is designed for the digital display segment, as well as for surveillance, retail and transportation applications.
