DRPC-240

The new powerful DRPC-240 computer with 11th generation Intel® Core™ processors comes from the innovative industrial solutions manufacturer iEi Technology and has all the prerequisites for use in modern manufacturing automation applications.

It is a flexible DIN rail mounted mini computer with three optional Tiger Lake processors. The most powerful option is the Intel® Core™ i7-1185GRE with adjustable power for optimizing power consumption (TDP 15/12W) and integrated Intel® Iris® Xe graphics. The computer is equipped with 8GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM with clock speeds up to 3200MHz, which can be expanded up to 32GB, allowing you to take full advantage of the processors performance. The system is equipped with 4x 2.5GbE Gigabit LAN for high-speed network communication. All four ports support TCC (provide optimal computing and timing performance for real-time applications) and TSN (enable ultra-reliable, low-latency Ethernet communication to support time-sensitive applications). The LAN ports simultaneously enable optional PoE power supply using a PoE module, to supply power and data simultaneously.

Peripherals can be connected via 2x USB 3.2 Gen2 and 2x USB 2.0. For classic RS-232 and RS422/485 serial communication, there are 2×2 DB-9 connectors with 2.5 kV isolation. Digital communication is enabled by a 12-bit digital DIO connector with six inputs and outputs, used for interfacing with sensors and controllers. The data storage space in the computer is classically designed with one position for 2.5″ SATA 6Gb/s HDD/SSD. Display connection is possible via HDMI and Display Port.

The computer can be expanded by one PCIe card x4 and is also equipped with two PCIe slots for M.2 modules, for optional Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/4G module for wireless communication, for which there is also 1x SIM slot on board. The DRPC-240 can also be optionally supplied with a TPM 2.0 encryption module, which allows data and passwords on the drive to be encrypted using BitLocker technology. The TPM then provides a higher level of security against malware and skimming.

The DRPC-240 has been designed to operate in environments with an extended operating temperature range of -20 to 60°C, allowing the device to be installed in outdoor racks designed for monitoring. It is a compact computer with a durable aluminum construction fitted with a massive passive heat sink that fills the right side of the chassis. For low airflow applications, an optional external fan is available to create active flow and dissipate heat.

The system power supply can be implemented in the range of 12 ~ 28V DC.

Compliance with MIL-STD-810G 514.6C-1 vibration standard makes the DRPC-240 embedded computer suitable for use in vehicles. Its application is also offered for environmental monitoring, building automation for controlling and managing air conditioning, heating, cooling and lighting.
