Last week we attended Smart Industry 2024 – a two-day conference on innovations in production and service. The main topics were artificial intelligence and augmented reality.

As a partner of the event, we had our own stand there. Visitors could try out:

• smart glasses for assisted and augmented reality from RealWear and Vuzix,
• rugged tablets and laptops from Getac, Durabook and Emdoor.

We were pleasantly surprised by the considerable interest of the professional public. About 150 people came to the conference, interested in how to:

• solve the shortage of qualified experts,
• smartly digitize documents and processes,
• increase the efficiency of production and service,
• share know-how among colleagues.

During the lectures, discussions and presentations at the stands, visitors learned everything. And since it all took place in Kopřivnice, they also took a ride on the Tatra testing ground.
