Commander S is the latest addition to the Control Techniques portfolio.

Incidentally, the company is starting the process of changing its name to Nidec Drives. However, this step will not have a negative impact on the product portfolio or services. On the contrary, the original company will join the Nidec family of companies in order to be able to offer customers even more useful products and solutions.

Commander S is affordable and ready to use right out of the box. It is the first frequency converter equipped with NFC technology and connected to a mobile application as standard without extra charge.

Complete operation of Commander S from mobile

Thanks to the NFC chip and the connection with the mobile application, the setting parameters of one frequency converter can be easily transferred to another. This clever solution allows quick replacement of a broken piece with a new one without complicated and lengthy configuration. Thanks to the NFC chip, the parameters can even be uploaded through the unopened original packaging. This means that you can set up a new inverter at your place and send it ready to the customer, who just swaps it out piece by piece and everything works as it should again.

The mobile application can also put the frequency converter into operation, diagnose faults or monitor operating conditions.
