ELVAC a.s. brings to the Czech and Slovak market a new single board computer WAFER-JL-N5105 from the workshop of the world manufacturer iEi Integration. WAFER-JL-N5105 is a compact motherboard in 3.5″ SBC format, which is a small single board computer with dimensions of 116 mm x 115 mm and equipped with a quad-core Intel® Celeron® N5105 processor from the Jasper Lake series with advanced 10nm technology.

iEi has developed a highly efficient thermal solution for 3.5″ motherboards – the IEI Heat Conduction Casing (IHCC). The motherboard features a modular heat sink that allows for very simple installation as well as uncomplicated heat dissipation from embedded components, which is a particular advantage for applications in single-purpose machines or intelligent robotic manufacturing.

The WAFER-JL-N5105 single board computer offers the computing power of the energy-efficient Celeron® N5105 processor with 4 cores, 4 threads and turbo performance up to 2.60 GHz with L3 cache. The board can be equipped with up to 16 GB of DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM at up to 2933 MHz, allowing you to take full advantage of the processor’s performance.

WAFER-JL-N5105 has two independent graphics outputs, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort in 4K resolution. In addition to three LAN connectors with Intel I225V 2.5 G Ethernet that can be used to connect IP cameras, there are also two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 x1 ports, and two internal RS-232 serial ports for connecting sensors. Digital communication is enabled by a 12-bit digital DIO connector for interfacing with sensors and controllers. The board also features a connection for a conventional hard disk or SSD via a single SATA 6G interface. For wireless communication, there are M.2 A Key expansion slots for a Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module and one M.2 B Key slot for a 4G LTE modem with a SIM card slot.
