After the successful HMT-1, RealWear comes with the new Navigator™ 500. The new smart glasses are directly based on and an innovation of the previous model. Innovations in RealWear Navigator™ 500

Enhanced camera
The camera is an essential component for smart glasses. Recording detail will now be up to four times greater with 48 megapixel resolution. Improved zoom will offer up to six times zoom, while maintaining HD resolution. Low-light shooting has also been improved. The camera is now a separate module that can be easily removed or replaced with another camera module, such as a thermal camera.

More powerful processor
For even faster performance, the Navigator™ 500 has been equipped with a Snapdragon 662 processor with 8 cores and a frequency of up to 2 GHz.

More memory
RAM capacity has been increased to 4 GB to support the new more powerful processor and GPU. A full 64 GB of data storage and a MicroSD card slot are now available for your multimedia.

Lower weight
Comfort is perhaps the most important aspect of using smart glasses. RealWear has reduced the weight of the new model to a whopping 272g, making the Navigator™ 500 one of the lightest augmented reality glasses on the market. Overall, the new model is one-third lighter and narrower than its predecessor.
Even easier battery replacement
The new hot-swap battery concept allows for even easier replacement without having to turn the device off. With a bit of dexterity, it is now not even necessary to remove the glasses from the head during the exchange.

Better suppression of ambient noise
The HMT-1 brought with it a revolution in ambient noise cancellation. The Navigator™ 500 has improved this feature even further and noise cancellation now reaches 100 dB.
