Getac F110 G6

Getac, the manufacturer of rugged tablets and laptops, has launched a brand new generation of the rugged 11.6″ Getac F110 G6 tablet. The tablet has been made even more resistant to shock, vibration and impact. It meets military certification with the new MIL-STD-810H standard, which guarantees extreme operability at operating temperatures from -29°C to +63°C, plus higher drop resistance. At the same time, protection against liquid ingress has also been improved with a new IP66 rating, which guarantees complete dust resistance and improved water resistance.

The new fully rugged F110 G6 offers the performance and functional diversity of a commercial computer for professionals working in the field or in a vehicle. The new 6th generation delivers maximum durability, speed and state-of-the-art connectivity, features needed in targeted sectors such as public safety, military, energy providers, raw materials or logistics.

The new 11.6″ IPS display offers a base HD resolution of 1920×1080 and 1000 nits brightness for readability even in direct sunlight, satisfying even the most demanding users. The Getac F110 G6 has a multi-touch screen that can be operated with all ten fingers, even with gloves. The tablet offers a software and optional hardware keyboard and a stylus or digitizer for precise tapping and scrolling.

The Getac F110 G6 delivers great performance with the latest and most powerful 11th generation Intel® Core™ mobile processors, from the i5-1135G7 to the i7-1185G7 vPro™. Despite the fact that “up-to-date” (when talking about Intel processors) is ephemeral, the 11th generation is still a technical gem in the F110 tablet, offering customers the latest and greatest available on the market. The new version of Intel’s 10nm process represents the biggest leap in a single technology. The new processor supports PCIe 4.0, enabling the tablet to feature new PCIe SSDs that handle data nearly five times faster than its predecessor. The biggest change in the processor is the new graphics core with integrated Iris® Xe graphics, which takes up a full third of the chip and is therefore its largest component. The 3D performance of the graphics has been boosted and offers up to 96 EU (graphics computing units), which is the level of the current best low-end in the dedicated graphics chip segment.

Security is becoming increasingly important, so Getac has upped the ante by enabling a Windows Hello-enabled camera, through which users can log into their devices in less than 1.5 seconds without having to enter a password or remove gloves. A fingerprint reader or contactless RFID card reader is also available.
The Getac F110 G6 tablet offers the latest and fastest wired and wireless connectivity options available. Thunderbolt™ 4 (type-C) enables data sharing with other devices at speeds up to 40 Gbps, wireless communication is provided by Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and the new Bluetooth 5.2 module, which improves connectivity with a variety of LPWA (Low-Power Wide-Area) devices, while the wireless WAN with integrated GPS/GLONASS receiver (featuring the latest Sierra Wireless module) provides advanced connectivity for WWAN interfaces, including LTE-Advanced.

The biggest enemy of mobile computing is time and battery life limits. Thanks to dual hot-swap batteries with Lifesupport™ technology, the Getac F110 G6 achieves long battery life of up to 12 hours, enough for a full day of uninterrupted work.

On the right side of the tablet, you’ll find four programmable buttons for things like launching the camera, barcode scanner and volume up or down.
